Great News - OSH and FP E-learning Available in IS
Introducing a new application for workplace safety training.
On 2nd October 2017, the Faculty of Science MU, in the spirit of supporting science and research as one of its priorities and also corresponding to the Long Term Strategic Plan of the Faculty of Science, endorsed principles set in The European Charter for Researchers and The Code of Conduct for Recruitment of Researchers, with the aim to obtain the HR Excellence in Research Award which is granted by the European Commission to Research institutions that implement The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R).
The Faculty was granted the HR Excellence in Research Award on December 3, 2018, and is commited to continue in creating friendly working environment and conditions, providing career development, and establishing transparent recruitment procedures for researchers.
In November 2020, the Faculty submitted its self-assessment of the HRS4R implementation after 2 years and the revised Action Plan for 2021–23 (Interim Review), which was accepted by the European Commission without any further recommendations and the “HRS4R Embedded” status was granted to the Faculty.
In February 2024, the Faculty submitted its new Action Plan for 2024–27 and self-assessment for the Award Renewal (External Review) and prepares for the Site Visit, i.e. visit of HRS4R Experts from European Commision.
Until 2022, the HR Strategy for Researchers at the Faculty was supported by the Czech national project - Setting up a Strategic Management System for a Research Organization in accordance with requirements of obtaining the HR Award for the Faculty. This project was part of a 5 year OP VVV Project – “Development of Human Resources and MU’s International Research Orientation” (HR4MU), which is co-financed by the European Union.
