When filing an electronic application (no other form of application is possible), you will also check the conditions for admission to the programme you chose.
A separate e-application must be filed for each programme. You can choose no more than three specialisations within a single programme. The fee for one application is CZK 650. You can file any number of applications you wish, but you must pay for each of them separately. Check in the e-application whether it is complete – paid for and confirmed.
Applicants for joint pedagogical study programmes have to present a confirmation of Bachelor's study focusing on education or a confirmation that they will complete during their Bachelor's study pedagogical-psychological courses within the scope of a Bachelor’s pedagogical degree programme.
Applicants for the programme of Bioanalytical laboratory diagnostics in healthcare – Medical genetics and molecular diagnostics have to present a confirmation from a higher education institution on attending a Bachelor’s programme which has obtained an affirmative opinion in terms of the authorisation to perform a medical profession.
Confirmation to the e-application is submitted only by applicants outside the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University no later than April 30, 2024. If it is not submitted by the specified date, the applicant will be assessed as not admitted to study for failing of conditions of the admission procedure.
April 2024
Insert the completed application form for the entrance examination waiver, including the required documents, into the e-application no later than April 30, 2024. By that date, you also have to state this fact in your e-application. This applies only to applicants who apply to a programme that does not directly follow after a Bachelor’s field of study. Applicants from the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University applying into a follow-up Master’s programme which directly follows after the previous Bachelor’s degree need not file an application for waiver of the entrance examination. For more information, see here.
Foreign nationals (except for Slovaks) applying for studies in the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programmes in the Czech language, whose entrance examination has been waived, are obliged to prove their knowledge of the Czech language by passing an examination in Czech language at the B1 level according to the ALTE Framework not later than when enrolling in study.
Enter the language level confirmation in the e-application no later than the date of enrollment in the study.

The invitation will be published in the e-application. You will receive a notification electronically.
The Dean’s statement on waiver of the entrance examination will be published in your e-application by 21 May 2024. Applicants whose application is not granted by the Dean have to appear for the entrance examination according to the invitation they received.

July 2024
You can find the decision on admission or non-admission in your e-application during July.
July and September 2024
The admission decision to study with information on proper enrollment will be published in your e-application. Only by enrolling do you become a student of the MU Faculty of Science. The enrollment date is set by the faculty. You cannot select an enrollment date. It is necessary to request an alternative enrollment date by e-mail to the study department no later than 5 days from the regular enrollment date.
